The Practice

Geosystems, L.P. is an independent consultancy specializing in specialty ground engineering — grouting, anchors, soil nails, micropiles, deep mixing, and diaphragm walls.

Founded in 1996 by Dr. Donald A. Bruce, the practice draws on nearly two decades of hands-on construction experience before it was a consultancy: almost ten years with UK specialty contractor Colcrete across the UK, Europe, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Egypt, and the Middle East, followed by ten years as Technical Director of Nicholson Construction Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Today, Geosystems serves projects worldwide — primarily as a member of Boards of Consultants, as a peer reviewer, and in litigation support — bringing an owner's-side rigor to work that is often technically contested and commercially high-stakes.
